Although sightings of these cats have been reported, they are rarely seen due to their habitat and behaviour. Nearly all sightings today are with camera traps.
The Golden Tree Snake is a diurnal, highly arboreal, and nervous snake known for its ability to climb vertical surfaces and glide between trees. When moving between trees or escaping danger, they leap from branches, flattening their body to form a "concave wing" to glide through the air.
Often found in gardens, they are generally shy but will bite if handled or provoked.
