Although the Amazon and the Pantanal are on my hit list, my recent visit to Brazil did not allow the time to fulfil either. What I did experience was unexpected and and a pleasant surprise.
My visit took me to the north east city of Recife, infamous for having the largest number of fatal shark attacks in the world.
