Length:  25 - 40 cm

Diet 

Insectivorous and Carnivorous.

Crickets, roaches, moths, spiders, and occasionally small lizards, mice and small birds.

Appearance 

A large, strikingly colored, and robust member of the gecko family. Typically, they have light blue to grey skin, patterned with vibrant red, orange, or yellowish spots and specks.

Habitat

Warm, humid, tropical climates, specifically in rainforests, monsoon forests, and dense woodlands.

Distribution. 

Found throughout Thailand.

 

Although sightings of these cats have been reported, they are rarely seen due to their habitat and behaviour. Nearly all sightings today are with camera traps.

Useful Information

Tokay geckos are large, nocturnal, and highly territorial lizards known for their aggressive, defensive behavior and loud "To-kay!" calls. Often found seen on building walls after dark.
