Length:  21 - 25 cm

Diet 

Carnivore.

Insects like beetles, crickets, and caterpillars, along with small vertebrates such as lizards, mice, and small birds.

Appearance

The Grey-backed Shrike has a gray back and crown, a prominent black mask through the eye, and a white throat. It has black wings with a white patch, a long, dark-gray or chestnut-brown tail, and a breast and flanks with rufous or orange colouration.

Distribution 

Grey-backed Shrike's are found throughout Thailand.  They are often seen in forest clearings, open country, and cultivated areas.
