
Ta Phraya National Park is a remote park, located in eastern Thailand. Close to the border with Cambodia, in the Phanom Dongrak range. Mainly in Sa Kaeo Province, with a part of the park in Buriram Province.
The park is part of the Dong Phayayen–Khao Yai Forest Complex.
It is approximately 280 - 284 km from Bangkok. The park headquarters are located at the park entrance.
The park was established in 1996. Being part of the a Dong Phayayen–Khao Yai Forest Complex it is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Ta Phraya, consists mainly of mixed deciduous, dry evergreen, and dry dipterocarp forests. Valuable timber species, including the endangered Siamese rosewood, Black Rosewood, Burma Padauk, and Ironwoodare supported.
Ta Phraya is home to 21 mammal species, 300 bird species and 37 species of reptiles. Endangered species found in the park, include Indochinese Tiger, Clouded Leopards, Pileated Gibbons and Souther Serow.
Ta Phraya covers an area of 594 km².
